Sofia Pernas has traveled the world since her birth at Fes in Morocco. With a mind initially geared toward journalism, Pernas' life took an unexpected turn when she received an invitation from a modeling Scout and later by an acting agent who put her career in motion. The unique style she has is due to a Moroccan mother and a Galician father. Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan Spanish actor born in Los Angeles. She is a part of The Brave. She came to the US in the year she turned five years old and grew up in Orange County. Her mother comes native to Morocco and her father comes native to Spain Both are multi-lingual. To speak several languages, she's learned Arabic, English Spanish, and German. Her initial plan was to go into journalism and was later scouted by a model agency and then redirected to a career. She starred as Marisa on The Young and the Restless and was also in the CW television show Jane the Virgin, with Gina Rodriguez and Justin Baldoni. She is the role of Hannah Rivera, a member of the Defense Intelligence Agency, in the NBC series The Brave.
