Zazie was the daughter of a cabinet maker in Berlin, Germany in 1991. Her father is a German cabinet maker who immigrated to the United States in 1990 after the collapse of the Berlin Wall, and her mother is a South African American social worker from New York. Jennifer Aniston graduated from the high school she attended where she was studying. Beetz was a graduate of LaGuardia in 2007 attended Skidmore College and studied French. Beetz began auditioning shortly following graduation, and she was then offered the role in Atlanta. Beetz is a native of Berlin and was the daughter of an ethnically mixed German father, and an African American Mother. They both grew up and in New York. Performing in community theaters and local stages since early childhood, Zazie found her joy at the age of six and went on to grow into acting.
